and i want it to be good looking, and not a model of civic that has that 03 ford focus shape.

Well your not really gonna get a civic fast enough to race without money... If I were buying a civic and didnt want the one that looks like the focus i would get the 1999-2000 Honda Civic Si. It has the DOHC and will be the best starting engine for a civic you could get. Now that will proly cost you about 8000-12000 for that car unless you find a really good deal... If you still arent looking to spend that kind of money i would go with any civic 1997-2000 cause the parts arent that expensive and you can find them on almost any performance site. either way if you want to race a civic your going to spend money to get it up to par... another option is to buy a civic that is already fixed up.

2003 Si hatchback model,you can even change the whole engine for a bigger one `coz  there`s a lot of room under the bonnet and weighs less than a ton with all the unnecessary things srtipped out.....
