I am a 17 year old about to buy my own car.

I have about Canadian $5000.

Should i buy a good used car or buy some car with a lotta miles and get the engine tuned up??

Is it going to be cheaper?

( i also want to upgrade the car.. new speakers, audio, etc)

If you're not mechanicly inclined, buy a good used car. If you don't mind getting your hands dirty and want to learn, buy one that has been well maintained (and looks good) and tune it up.

Try and get a Mitsubishi Eclipse, Eagle Talon, Honda Accord, honda civic, or acura integra. All round the years 1993-1998.
