Ronald J. Hansen President, Michaels Management Services/Michaels Military Housing

Ronald J. Hansen has over 32 years of successful project planning and management experience in both public and private sectors. As President, Mr. Hansen is responsible for leading planning and execution efforts for Michaels Military Housing and Michaels Management Services’ Housing Privatization efforts. He is responsible for supervising ongoing development projects and coordinating all team efforts involving design, construction, renovation, community management and maintenance.
 
Mr. Hansen has been a leader in the public-private housing privatization program for over 16 years and has led teams successfully developing and executing privatization plans for 17 locations throughout the United States.

Ronald J. Hansen oversees projects that include student housing requirements and has aligned the programs and services provided at Michaels’ projects to requirements very similar to those required in the student housing market, to include unit design, operational functions, resident programs, facilities maintenance and repair, end of year/semester turnover management functions.
 
Mr. Hansen is a licensed Professional Engineer in the commonwealth of Virginia since 1987. He is a member of the Society of Military Engineers (SAME), the Engineer Association, American Society of civil Engineers (AScE) and Association of the US Army (AUSA).
 
Ronald J. Hansen holds a Master of Engineering degree in construction Management and a Master of Science degree in Geotechnical Engineering from the University of California at Berkeley. He also holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the United States Military Academy at West Point, New
York.
