Shellie Cerecke, Community Director
I have been the with MVC since privatization in 2009. I have seen so many changes that have benefitted our residents and community. I am proud to work for a company that truly values their residents. I have lived in Sierra Vista since 2005, but my family has ties to the area since the 1970’s. My husband is a retired Marine, so I have first-hand experience with moving to new duty stations and having to make new friends, find a job & learn the new area. Our goal is to make this portion of your transition to Fort Huachuca as stress-free as possible. Welcome Home!
Monica Duvernay, Bookkeeper
Welcome to the community! I have been a part of the Mountain Vista Communities team since 2016. I began as a Customer Service Representative then worked as a Leasing Specialist and have been the Bookkeeper since the beginning of 2018. My husband & I are both ARMY Veterans and had the pleasure of living in Coronado Village with MVC prior to working for the company and can attest to the quality of housing provided from that perspective. I am a wine consultant and when I’m not in the office here, I am often found working at the oldest working Vineyard in Sonoita, enjoying the process of making and sharing wine. Working with residents that I have so much in common with makes it fun to come to work each day. I strive to bring peace of mind and convenience to all residents each day and it is an honor to welcome you home!

Our family came to Ft Huachuca (kicking and screaming!) in 1991, courtesy of the US Army. We quickly fell in love with the natural beauty of the area and laid back atmosphere. After 22 years in the Army, my husband retired out of the 40th ESB. We now have no desire to be anywhere else! I have been married to my husband for 39 years and for the first 22 years of our marriage, followed him to Germany and back twice, as well as numerous assignments stateside. We have two gorgeous daughters, two handsome sons-in-law and four amazing grandchildren. Our daughters and sons-in-law all serve or have served the military community in one capacity or another (active duty, civil service, educator, personal trainer). As empty nesters, we now share our home with an aging feline and one very silly Rottridor (half Labrador, half Rottweiler). I have been with Mountain Vista Communities since 2012. I consider it an honor and a blessing to serve our military and strive to make your housing experience as painless, and hopefully even enjoyable, as possible. Welcome home!
