Meet the Maintenance Team
Juan Mendoza, Facilities Director
As Mountain Vista Communities Facilities Director, it is my responsibility to provide a stellar quality of home to families at Fort Huachuca. I am a Bisbee native where I live with my wife of over 15 years and our two children. I have an extensive background in home remodeling and in 1998 I painted homes here on post. Witnessing the removal of older housing and construction of new neighborhoods has made me feel more connected to the community. I’ve been a part of the MVC Maintenance Team since April 2009, when privatization began here, and it is my privilege to welcome you home!
Bridgette Ritchey, Facilities Operations Manager
I have had the pleasure of working for Mountain Vista Communities since April 2011. My husband is an Army Veteran and I am proud to work for a company that helps provide a friendly and safe community for our soldiers! I have lived in the Sierra Vista/Fort Huachuca area off and on since I was in grade school and I graduated from Tombstone High School. My husband, daughter and I love living in beautiful Southeast Arizona and hope you will too! Welcome Home!
Mike Grayson Sr., Maintenance Supervisor
I have been the Maintenance Supervisor at Mountain Vista Communities since 2010. Prior to this position, I was a supervisor with AllStar (now known as Emcor) servicing the homes and other buildings on Fort Huachuca for ten years. In my position with MVC, I manage 21 employees, ensuring service orders are completed in a timely manner. My father was stationed here in 1968 for fourteen years; he was a Sergeant First Class working with helicopter communications as an instructor. Which means, I have been a Sierra Vista Native most of my life. This area is great for my hunting and fishing adventures with my family. My wife and I have 36 years of marriage and 5 children. It’s important to me that the homes on this Installation are well cared for because of Fort Huachuca’s history and the future we can provide here for my own family. Welcome Home!
Vicente Cardona, Grounds Supervisor
I have had the pleasure of working with Mountain Vista Communities since November 2014. Prior to working with MVC, I was a landscape manager with R.L. Workman Homes where I had a large role with landscaping during the construction of Coronado Village and Signal Village. I supervise four groundskeepers and take pride in my team’s natural desire to service the military and their families with a safe and beautiful environment. I enjoy the camaraderie of my landscaping crew and our interactions with the residents each day when we are working throughout the neighborhoods. My wife and I have two children, we are native Douglas, Arizona residents and we enjoy hunting, fishing and playing sports as a family. I coach my sons football, basketball and baseball teams and I strive to bring that leadership experience to the office each day; instilling dedication, hard work and integrity into my off the field team. It is an honor to welcome you home and to the community!
