What is the most interesting thing about working at Michaels and the work you do?
Working for an organization that gives back to communities, residents and their employees.
What is the most rewarding part about your job?
Being able to be part of a team that solves problems and those problems turn into opportunities.
How much does the company culture and your coworkers/team make up for your satisfaction?
110%. I enjoy being in the atmosphere that Michaels has created and seeing my co-workers/friends for the past 20 years. Company picnics, holiday parties, softball leagues, basketball games, golf outings, Eagles and Phillies games are are a few examples of what enhance the Michaels culture.
What are three benefits you’ve discovered about working here that you weren’t aware of when you started?
1. Having the ability to learn and grow from industry experts within Michaels . 2. The message that we are family from the top down is real. 3. Michaels belief that promotion within is very important. They want to see their employees grow into future leaders.
