August 27, 2025, CAMDEN, NJ – The Michaels Organization Educational Foundation announced today that applications are now open for its 2025-2026 Student Living Scholarship program. The program is specifically designed for students who reside in on- or off-campus student living communities that are owned or managed by The Michaels Organization. Undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral students are eligible to apply.
Applications for the Michaels Student Living Scholarship Program can be accessed through the Michaels Scholars website. The application process will remain open until Friday, October 17, 2025, and all applicants will be notified of the outcome status of their application by Friday, November 21, 2025.
“Education is a cornerstone of personal and professional growth, and we are proud to help our residents pursue their academic dreams,” said Mark Morgan, Chief Executive Officer of The Michaels Organization. “Our Student Living Scholarship program reflects our commitment to Lift Lives not only with quality living environments, but also with the financial support to succeed in higher education.”
The Michaels Student Living Scholarship Program, now in its tenth year, is administered through The Michaels Organization Educational Foundation – a non-profit affiliate of The Michaels Organization – established to administer scholarships to Michaels residents to use toward their pursuit of higher education at any accredited college, university, or vocational training program in the nation. Scholarships are awarded annually, and recipients are eligible to receive grants up to $10,000. Students may reapply each year of their undergraduate education for continuing grants.
Since its inception in 1991, the Foundation has awarded more than $19 million in scholarships to scholars residing in Michaels-owned and managed communities. Earlier this year, the Foundation awarded a total of $2.4 million to 282 residents living in Michaels’ affordable and military communities, marking the largest donation to date.
All Educational Foundation funds are raised through voluntary contributions by companies and private individuals throughout The Michaels Organization’s business network. All donations are then matched $2 for every $1 by The Michaels Organization’s founder and chairman, Michael Levitt and his wife, Pat Levitt.
