Michael J. Levitt
Founder & Chairman
Michael J. Levitt founded Michaels in 1973. Back then it was a four-man operation developing subsidized housing. Today, Michaels is a national leader in residential real estate and the nation’s largest privately-held owner of affordable housing. In 1993, Mike established The Michaels Organization Educational Foundation, which administers scholarships to Michaels residents. Mike and his wife, Pat, match every private donation to the educational foundation two-for-one. Mike is a housing visionary, a philanthropist, a world-class angler, and a 2012 inductee into the Affordable Housing Hall of Fame.

Mark Morgan is Chief Executive Officer of The Michaels Organization, a national real estate leader with more than $12
billion in assets that serves more than 200,000 residents in more than 600 rental communities across 39 states, D.C., and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Michaels’ expertise includes all aspects of housing development, construction, property and investment management.
Matt Sullivan
Chief Operating Officer
As Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Sullivan has overarching responsibility for Michaels’ property and asset management operations, risk
management, refinance and dispositions platforms, and the support functions of Information Technology, Human Resources, and Corporate Marketing.
Joe Purcell
Chief Financial Officer
As Chief Financial Officer, Joe has responsibility for the financial and accounting operations of all Michaels’ operating companies. He leads us in the structuring of transactions for Michaels’ developments and acquisitions and ensures the continued preservation and recapitalization of Michaels’ affordable portfolio. Joe serves on several boards including the Affordable Housing Tax Credit Coalition, the Mike and Pat Levitt Charitable Foundation, Better Tomorrows, Catholic Partnership Schools of Camden, and the Burlington County Catholic Basketball League.

Chief Investment Officer
As Chief Investment Officer of The Michaels Organization, Michael Flanagan leads Michaels’ investment and development platforms, enhancing capital allocation and investment across Michaels’ diverse line of businesses.
Kimberlee Schreiber
President, Management
As President of Michaels Management, Kimberlee has lead responsibility for Michaels' property management portfolio, which includes affordable, workforce, military, student and market-rate communities from coast to coast. Michaels Management provides property management services to Michaels' entire portfolio as well as fee-management services to other owners and nonprofit organizations. Kimberlee brings over 30 years of management experience to the Michaels team.
Joseph Coyle
President, Student Living
As President of Michaels Student Living, Joe Coyle has primary responsibility for the development and management of Michaels’ student living portfolio. He has more than 25 years of experience in the housing and development industry and has been with Michaels since 2011.
James Haley
Principal, Urban Practice
Jim has 32 years of professional experience in architecture, construction management, and real estate development. His primary focus has been multi-family residential, with an emphasis on urban renewal, affordability, and sustainability.
Milton Pratt Jr.
Executive Vice President, Development
As Executive Vice President of Development, Mr. Pratt co-leads Michaels Development—Affordable Living. Mr. Pratt focuses on pipeline growth and asset performance through relationships with various governmental and industry groups. He works closely with Michaels’ regional development teams to generate opportunities and works with Michaels’ management team regarding existing asset restructuring under HUD’s RAD/MTM or ACC programs.
Jonathan Lubonski

As Executive Vice President of Development, Jonathan Lubonski is responsible for overseeing The Michaels Organization’s nationwide affordable housing development operations. He provides strategic leadership across all regional business units, ensuring the successful execution of an extensive and high-value project pipeline, and is instrumental in guiding the company’s long-term development vision, driving operational efficiency, and ensuring alignment with the overall business objectives on a national scale.
Ned Williams
Executive Vice President, Development
Ned is the Executive Vice President of Student Living Development for the Eastern region of Michaels' portfolio. He works with colleges and universities to provide solutions for developing new on-campus housing, as well as redevelopment opportunities for existing student housing.
Raoul Amescua
Executive Vice President, Development
Raoul is the Executive Vice President of Student Living Development for the Western region of Michaels' portfolio. He works with colleges and universities to provide solutions for developing new on-campus housing, as well as redevelopment opportunities for existing student housing.
Don Miller
Executive Vice President, Management
Don is the Executive Vice President of Michaels Management. His responsibilities include oversight of the financial management and reporting requirements for all of the communities that Michaels manages, as well as oversight of Michaels Management’s corporate financial accounting. In addition, he is also responsible for the financial management of several of the associated entities including the employee retirement plan, employee health plans and The Michaels Organization Educational Foundation.

As Executive Vice President of Operations, Genevieve Bauer works in all aspects of property operations, including financial management, resident services, compliance, and technology.
Cheree Lujan
Executive Vice President, Student & Market Operations
As Executive Vice President for Michaels Student Living, Cheree's responsibilities include developing operational efficiencies throughout the company's portfolio, including student, market-rate, and affordable housing. She directs the company's Regional Vice Presidents and Regional Property Managers in the process of acquisitions, dispositions, rehabs, lease ups, maximizing income, expense control, and staff development.
Erik Roberson
Executive Vice President, Investment Management
As Executive Vice President, Erik has lead responsibility for Michaels’ investment management platform across its affordable, market-rate, student, and military portfolios. He oversees strategic investments of Michaels’ existing portfolio, including loan conversions, debt refinancing, comparable analyses, tax credit resyndication opportunities, military housing development, risk management, and investor relations.

As Senior Vice President of Marketing and Innovation, Michael Manfred has lead responsibility for marketing, revenue management, and the customer experience for Michaels' national portfolio of affordable, market-rate, student, and military housing.

Senior Vice President, Capital & Portfolio Management
As Senior Vice President of Capital Markets & Portfolio Management, Cristhian Codorniu has lead responsibility for Michaels’ debt and equity platform that supports both new development and acquisition opportunities for Michaels.

As Senior Vice President of Acquisitions, Kunal Chothani focuses on affordable acquisitions as well as identifying land for new affordable development opportunities.
Laura Zaner
Vice President, Marketing
As Vice President of Corporate Communications and Marketing, Laura has primary responsibility for creating and implementing comprehensive marketing, communications, and public relations programs that showcase Michaels' national leadership in residential real estate. She leads the overall branding effort for the organization while providing strategic marketing expertise to each area of expertise, as well as its non-profit educational foundation.
Donna-Jean Loder
Vice President, Information Technology
Donna-Jean serves as the Vice President of Information Technology. Her responsibilities include the planning of information technology's future for Michaels, as well as for the implementation and maintenance of current systems. She also must ensure maximum uptime and stability in the company's computer systems and networks.
Kristy Calo
Vice President, Human Resources
Kristy Calo serves as Vice President of Human Resources at The Michaels Organization. In her role, she oversees the functions of Human Resources and Payroll in support of 2,800+ employees in 39 states, the District of Columbia, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. She has been a key contributor in the implementation and execution of various HR initiatives in the benefits, talent management, and compensation areas.
