Officials to Join Development Partners and Residents to Honor New Affordable Homes
WHAT: The Chicago Housing Authority and City of Chicago officials will join residents and developers The Michaels Organization and Brinshore Development for a ceremonial groundbreaking marking the start of the Legends South A3 development.

The Legends South A3 development represents a significant milestone in the ongoing transformation of the former Robert Taylor Homes site in Chicago’s Bronzeville neighborhood. Developed by The Michaels Organization and Brinshore Development in partnership with the Chicago Housing Authority, Legends South A3 will feature 52 residential units across two buildings: a four-story elevator building with 40 apartments and a three-story walk-up building with 12 apartments. The development will include approximately 3,500 square feet of commercial space on the ground floor of the four-story building.
*A ceremony celebrating Michaels Scholarship award winners will follow, across the street at Savoy Square.
