Liz Tracey Joins Michaels As New Rvp For Development

Michaels is delighted to welcome Liz Tracey to our Development Team. As Regional Vice President of Development for our Western Region, Liz is responsible for the development and acquisition of mixed-income and affordable housing properties in the west, primarily Colorado and Texas
Liz comes to us from Jamboree Housing Housing, a nonprofit developer in California. Prior to that, Liz was a senior principal at LeSar Development Consultants, providing technical assistance to state and local housing agencies, public housing authorities, and private developers.
Liz also brings experience working in with new markets tax credits, after serving on that team at Chase, financing community facilities on the West Coast. She was also part of the community development banking group at Bank of America, providing construction and permanent lending to affordable housing developers. She started her career in finance in the municipal ratings group at Standard and Poor's, focusing on housing bond ratings.
Having spent part of her childhood in Latin America, Liz is fluent in Spanish. She holds a bachelor's degree in history from Northwestern University and her masters in business administration from the Haas School of Business at the University of California at Berkeley.
She is located in our Colorado regional office.
