Michaels Management Names Dayra Conde Senior Vice President

The Michaels Organization, a national leader in residential real estate, is proud to announce that Dayra Conde has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Management for its military housing portfolio.

With Dayra’s transition from Regional Vice President to Senior Vice President, she will now oversee a larger portfolio of Michaels’ Military communities in the eastern and midwest regions. In addition, Dayra will be taking on special projects, including but not limited to her enthusiasm for future innovations.

“Throughout her time at Michaels, Dayra has consistently shown extraordinary dedication in each role she has held,” said Sherri Farris, Executive Vice President – Management, who oversees management operations for Michaels’ military portfolio. “I am delighted to have her accept this well-deserved promotion to continue to Lift the Lives of our military service members and their families.”

Dayra joined Michaels in 2014. Before her most recent promotion to SVP, she served as Regional Vice President, and before that, Assistant Vice President. As an Assistant VP, Dayra oversaw the first new construction mixed-income community in the city of Camden, NJ, and has played a substantial role in Camden’s major redevelopment efforts. She was also previously responsible for the management of two military installations that totaled 6,000 units.

Before joining Michaels, Dayra worked in the conventional market in South Florida and San Francisco before transferring to military housing. She has over 14 years of operations and community management experience stretching a variety of property types including military, market-rate, and mixed-income. She is an active member of the National Apartment Association.

The Michaels Organization has been a Department of Defense private-sector partner since 2004 and currently owns and manages more than 18,000 privatized military homes at 11 military installations across the country.
