The Michaels Organization, a national leader in residential real estate, is thrilled to announce the promotion of Takieya Renfro from Regional Vice President to Senior Vice President. In this new role, Renfro will oversee a diverse portfolio of affordable housing communities in Illinois, Wisconsin, Indiana, Kentucky, Texas, South Carolina, and Florida.
With over 18 years in the affordable housing industry, Renfro brings deep expertise in property operations, strategic planning, and stakeholder engagement. She has a proven track record of fostering strong relationships with government agencies, community organizations, and partners to ensure the success and sustainability of affordable housing initiatives. She is a committed and dynamic leader, passionate about creating vibrant communities and driving operational excellence across her portfolio.
Renfro began her career with The Michaels Organization in 2009 as a Community Manager and quickly advanced through roles of increasing responsibility, including Regional Property Manager and Regional Vice President. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and a Master’s degree in Human Resource Management.
