Since its inception in 1991, The Michaels Organization Educational Foundation has helped thousands of Michaels residents pursue their dreams of higher education. Scholarships awarded to residents in our affordable, military and student/market housing help pay tuition at any accredited college, university, or vocational training program in the nation. Scholarships are awarded annually and students may reapply each year of their undergraduate education for continuing grants.
All foundation funds are raised through voluntary contributions by corporations, companies, families, private trusts, and individuals throughout The Michaels Organization’s business network. All donations are then matched $2 for every $1 by The Michaels Organization’s Founder and Chairman, Michael J. Levitt, and his wife, Pat Levitt.
Each year, the Michaels Education Foundation’s major fundraiser is our Annual Golf Classic — a fun-filled day of golf, prizes, and a silent auction that draws supporters from near and far. This year, the Golf Classic will be held earlier than usual — August 26, 2026.
