Under Kimberlee’s leadership, Michaels Management has earned numerous awards and distinctions including the prestigious Accredited Management Company (AMO) designation from the Institute of Real Estate Management, placing it in the top 1% of management companies in the country. In 2012, 2017, and 2019, Michaels Management was named Management Firm of the Year by The National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) – an award honoring outstanding multifamily management and property operations, including financial performance and a commitment to customer service, resident promotion and retention, and professional development opportunities for employees.
The honorees for this year’s Woman of Distinction program were selected by the Business Journal’s editors from almost 300 nominations made by the public. The program recognizes women in the business community who are blazing a trail at their respective companies, are respected for accomplishments within their fields, give back to the community and are sought out as respected advisors and mentors.
