The Summit On Juniper Awarded Leed Green Building Certification

The Michaels Organization, a national leader in residential real estate, with full-service capabilities in development, property management, construction, and investment, is proud to announce Summit on Juniper is now LEED Gold certified by the U.S. Green Building Council.
LEED, or Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design, is a globally recognized symbol of excellence in green building. LEED certification ensures electricity cost savings, lower carbon emissions, and healthier environments where people live, work, learn, and play.
Summit on Juniper is a 309-unit student living community in Lebanon, New Hampshire, designed to accommodate more than 630 graduate students at Dartmouth College. Located on 53 acres of land just south of Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, Summit on Jupiter offers significant green space, including the adjacent Boston Lot hiking trails. There is on-site bike storage and parking as well as access to a complimentary shuttle bus serving the campus.
“Michaels has always placed a high priority on sustainability and we are proud to offer our Dartmouth residents beautiful, comfortable living and learning spaces that have measurable green building strategies built in,” said Kristina Vagen, Michaels Regional Vice President of Development.
Earlier this year, Michaels also celebrated the grand opening of Orchard Park, its second student housing development on the campus of UC Davis. Both Orchard Park and the first phase of our on-campus development, The Green at West Village, offer LEED-certified student living, boasting sustainable design at their core, with state-of-the-art amenities, technology integration, and communal spaces for collaboration and personal growth.
